Any great juggling act starts with three things. For Jenna Morton, that’s her three kids. Clara is the auburn-haired ringleader, starting off the routine. She’s 3 years old. Then comes Alasdair and Rory, two minutes apart and two months early. That’s when Jenna (and her high-school-romance-turned-husband) really learned to juggle. Premature twins have a way of keeping you on your toes, especially once they start racing after their big sister. The twins turn 2 in the New Year. And hey, once you’ve got a feel for the basics, why not throw in more elements? So Jenna sought out a few volunteer roles, becoming the Promotions Coordinator for the Moncton Multiples Consignment Sale and heading up a group of NNICU parent ‘graduates.’ This juggling act seemed the perfect fit for one more component – momstown Moncton.
Jenna’s daily life, combined with her former life as a journalist with CBC and social media team lead with a Moncton-based market intelligence agency, brings a vibrancy and an editorial touch to momstown Moncton. She’ll be sharing stories from real life, posting crafts and recipes – along with thoughts on trying to make them stress-free. She’ll be searching out all the best local events and information, such as details on walk-in clinics, indoor play spaces, and parks with the stamp of approval from three rambunctious kids.
Juggling runs in Jenna’s family, by the way. Her brother doesn’t have any kids, so he just uses fire. Watch for him busking in Fredericton.
