.The Easter Bunny is hopping by Champlain Place on Saturday, April 4. He won't be sitting still, but hopping around visiting with the young and young at heart between 11am and 1pm, and again from 2pm until 4pm.
The Easter Bunny will be also stopping by the Handmade Mom and Baby Show being held at the Lions Club in Riverview on Saturday, April 4. The show is open from 10am until 4pm; the Easter Bunny is scheduled to be there between 1pm and 3pm.
The Magnetic Hill Zoo has cancelled its Easter EGGstravaganza for Saturday April 4, because of the snowy conditions.
Wild Cheer Athletics is holding an Easter Eggstravaganza on Saturday, April 4, starting at 4pm. The gym will be open with an Easter egg hunt, games, prizes, refreshments, face painting, and a visit from the Easter bunny. Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door.
The three local Superstore locations are all hosting Easter-themed cooking classes; search the website by store for more details. Be sure to register early for the Easter Bunny Cake Day workshops; children can create a cake, decorated with coloured icing, candies, and trimming, they can take home to enjoy. The cost for the cake workshop is $15 plus tax per child; registration is required at least 24 hours in advance.
Lutes Mountain Church of the Nazarene is planning a Community Easter Family Fest on Saturday, April 4, from 1pm until 4pm. There will be an egg hunt, face painting, a photobooth, a craft station, a snowman building or snow painting competition, a hot-dog roast, a ball hockey tournament, and more! The afternoon will conclude with some fun kid songs and an Easter devotional. The event is free, but donations will be taken for the upcoming Lutes Mountain Haiti Missions trip.
The Moncton Wesleyan Church is holding an Easter Bunny Blast on Saturday, April 4 from 8am until noon. This free event includes face painting, bouncy castles, a pancake breakfast – and 40,000 Easter eggs! You can register online.
